Today was a faucet day. We finally had all the parts, or so I thought, to proceed on with the faucets, and get all that wired up, and we pretty much did have everything. But I was mistaken with one of my nipple connections, but alas, shoganai. The bigger issue, is a solder coupling for attaching my copper pipe to the faucet, was ruined on my first solder attempt, since I over fluxed it and solder leaked into the threads.
Regroup and reattempt in the future, after another obihiro run later this week maybe.
But two of the faucets are completely in, and looking good, so super stoked on that. The third just needs to be soldered, then it can be all hooked up too, so yeah, the end is getting closer for our sink project. It is not quite in sight yet, but I can feel it. I atleast feel like the complicated aspects are nearly over, and it will all be creative and shaping with the tadelakt.
Tomorrow Ryota and Agetatsu are coming to help us with the roof out front, and get that all fixed up. It is good to have good homies, that are willing to grind on it with yah. Should be a fun time, and hopefully we can get that mess all cleaned up once and for all.
